Linking Your Google DV360 Account to Narrative
Introduction
Linking your Google DV360 account to Narrative allows for seamless data delivery, enhancing your advertising campaigns with precise targeting data. This guide provides instructions for both Google DV360 customers working with a Narrative data partner and those sending data to their own DV360 account.
If you are working with a Narrative Data Partner
In Google DV360:
- Log into your Google DV360 Account:
- Ensure your Google DV360 account is active and properly configured.
- Obtain your Google DV360 account ID. This number can be found in the Google DV360 platform under your account details.
- You'll need to have your Display & Video 360 account approved to use a data-uploading service.
- Connect Google DV360 to Narrative:
- From your partner or advertiser, navigate to Partner/Advertiser Settings and then Linked Accounts in the left menu.
- Click Link New Account and then External Data Partner.
- Select Narrative from the dropdown menu.
- Click Link.
- On the Confirm your acceptance dialogue, check the "On behalf of my company, I agree." box to accept the terms. If you don't check this box, you won't be able to link the external management platform or customer match uploader partner to your Display & Video 360 account.
- Share Google DV360 Account ID:
- Provide your Google DV360 account ID to your Narrative data partner/customer.
- Your data partner will handle the rest of the configuration and data delivery process.
Note: This process ensures that your data partner can upload customer data to your Google DV360 account for targeted advertising campaigns.
If you are a Narrative data partner and need to complete setup of a connection to a Google DV360 Account
In Narrative:
- Install the Google DV360 Connector:
- Log into your Narrative account.
- Navigate to the Google Connector install page, located at https://app.narrative.io/app/google-dv360-connector.
- Click "Install" and follow the on-screen instructions to authenticate and link your Google DV360 account.
- Configure Delivery Profile in Narrative:
- After installing the connector, navigate to the "Profiles" section of the app.
- Create a new profile for data delivery.
- Enter the Google DV360 account ID and a descriptive name for your partner who has configured the connection in Google DV360.
- Save the profile and start uploading data.
If you are delivering data from Narrative to your own Google DV360 account
In Google DV360:
- Log into your Google DV360 Account:
